I am Janaki

I am Janaki whose name,
can be heard and sung,
in Ramayana as the better half.
I am the baby,
who was digged out,
and enthroned in Mithila.
I am the bride,
for whom Lord Rama,
bowed his arrow.
I am the mother,
of little crouncha birds,
who questioned their father.
I am the woman,
who accompanied the half,
and detained by the half,
in the same wild forest.
I am the woman,
who ensnared agni,
to prove the chastity.
I am the woman,
who embraced mother Earth
with tears for dignity.
