Gradient Scale

I may not be the best,
with your gradient scale.
I may not be a diamond,
with your gradient scale.
I may not be beautiful,
with your gradient scale.
I may not be courteous,
with your gradient scale.
But the gradient scale is a query
As the scale is not from heaven,
Nor from Parliament too.
Gradient scale is never the same,
And thus is not perfect too.

Dream catcher

It was hanging above my eyes,
To fulfill my dreams.
But I closed my eyes,
To catch them in my dreams,
And thus they stay as dream too.
It was hanging above my heart,
And I lied with dreams on bed,
And I lied to hear my heart,
But it was hoping like a hart,
who run behind dreams,
And thus my dream is fulfilled.

True companion

When you were in tears,
I was weeping with you,
But you never noticed me.
When you were jovial,
I too smiled heartily,
But you never found it.
When you were wounded,
I was bleeding with you,
But you never caressed me.
When you were awarded,
I was behind you,
But you missed me.
Now you lost your breath,
And I am lying beside you.
Now we can converse,
About the tears and smiles,
Which made you a memory.
Now as your true companion;
I, the shadow, lie with you
And broods over you praises.

Life roles

In the grounds of life;
Thou are a traveller,
who visits and departs,
with the birth and death.
Thou are a guest,
honoured and dishonoured,
as you come and halts the departure.
Thou are a warrior,
who fights and rest,
with the needs.
Thou are a student,
who learns and fails,
with hurdles in the path.
Thou are a poet,
who writes and tears,
the pages of life.
In the grounds of life,
thou play many roles,
with the situations.

Rose of graveyard

O! dear princess of love
Thou are lucky to bear the pain;
The pain of the loved ones,
which adorns my graveyard.
O! dear petals of red
Thou are precious to be laid;
Laid before my soul,
to mask their tears.
O! dear sepal of lies
Thou cover the faded tears
And lips which pierced my heart once,
Now shed their false tears with you.
